La Salle Releases Full Basketball Schedule

La Salle University has released it’s 2007-2008 basketball schedule. Highlights of the schedule include the San Juan Shootout as well as out of conference match-ups with Florida State and Big 5 games at Villanova and Penn.

The Explorers have a chance to start fast this season with 7 winnable games to start the season beginning with Maryland-Baltimore County and ending with Morgan State. After that the toughest stretch of the season begins with the San Juan Shootout featuring Mississippi and De Paul before returning to Philadelphia to face cross town rival Villanova. Then they take a flight down south to take on Florida State.

They begin A-10 play at home with Richmond before traveling to St. Bonaventure. Look out for a tough week in early February as the Explorers travel to Xavier and GW. Three home games against Charlotte, St. Louis, and St. Bonaventure are critical the week prior as La Salle heads into February. The Explorers finish out the season at home against Temple March 8th.
