Explorers secure 5th commitment

A surprise commitment from a North Carolina prep shooting guard increases the Explorers talent base and makes five commitments for the program in the Class of 2007.

Dr. John Giannini has just gotten his 5th commitment. Multiple sources have confirmed that La Salle has received a commitment from 6"5 shooting guard Darryl Partin from Charis Prep in North Carolina. He becomes the Explorers 5th commitment in the Class of 2007.

Originally from Seattle, Partin has traveled the country honing skills and will now call Philadelphia his home for the next four years. Described as very athletic and with ability to slash to the basket and shoot from the outside, Partin joins a very young La Salle backcourt.
